The Inclusive Playground – A Rewarding Challenge

This topic gets more and more publicity in media, conferences, exhibitions and as a result while planning a new playground. We, as a leading producer of play equipment, take responsibility for that topic.
Creating the ideal inclusive play space requires a wide range of play and usage options. Inclusive play spaces take human diversity into account. They do more than merely compensate for “deficits”. In the latest issue of the magazine playground@landscape you'll find an article about Inclusive Play by Maria Feske.
Maria Feske works as a consultant for Berliner Seilfabrik, she and the team at the Berliner Seilfabrik design playground concepts that are up to special challenges. She is a nationally certified Occupational Therapist with many years of experience in working with children and adults with disabilities. She is a mother of a 4 year old boy and is currently working on her thesis to conclude her studies in Psychology.
Here  you can read the whole article.
If you also have a vision of an inclusive playground, send an e-mail to (cornelia.duckert@berliner-seilfabrik.com) or give us a call (+49 30 – 41 47 24 22).
