Karl's adventure village in Elstal near Berlin has launched the "K2-Kartoffelchips_Erlebniswelt" ( potato crisp adventure world) in spring - a large indoor playground in the shape of a custom-made solution by the Berliner Seilfabrik above the tables of the potato restaurant.
A total of four climbing potatoes at a height of over 3 metres in two different sizes are suspended at different heights from the ceiling of the Chips manufacture building.
Everything is connected via various net tunnels. This creates the impression of a flying climbing labyrinth, whose intersections are made up of climbing potatoes.
The basic structure of the climbing potatoes is made of steel. Two rings with a diameter of 1.5 meters are connected by a total of eight curved steel tubes in such a way that a round steel frame is created.
The side and top openings of the structure are closed with net elements in such a way that on the one hand the necessary safety is guaranteed and on the other hand a high degree of transparency is provided.
A special playing value is given to the system in particular by the different designs of the connecting tunnels between the potatoes.
Each tunnel differs in gradient, length, shape and size of the openings and also has a different variant of climbing ropes.
