Berliner Seilfabrik becomes ISO 9001 certified.

On the 24th of February, the final Audit for certifying Berliner Seilfabrik GmbH & Co. to the ISO 9001 standard took place. Berliner Seilfabrik passed the certifying process without any major or minor nonconformities.  “Thanks to all employees and the Quality Manager for their work on getting certified. Now we will focus on improving continuously and become an even better company”, says Karl Köhler, Managing owner.

Celebrating 160 Years Berliner!

On May 16th, we hosted a festive anniversary gala at one of our production facilities in the Reinickendorf district of Berlin. The evening was dedicated to celebrating three major milestones in our company’s history: 160 years of Berliner, 70 years of rope play equipment, and 30 years as a family-owned business. We were delighted to welcome around 400 guests from politics, business, the media, and the leisure industry to this special event.

Donation – WaggaWagga for School in Hawaii

When we learned of the devastating fires in Lahaina, Hawaii in August 2023, we were deeply saddened. Due to our intensive cooperation with the Hawaiian schools, especially in recent years, the fate of the Maui community hit us particularly hard. We would like to take this opportunity to express our sympathy once again. The city of Lahaina has begun rebuilding in recent months. The children of the community should soon be able to attend school again. We would like to support them to make their new start easier, or rather, to move forward. Through an appeal for donations to our US partners, we were able to raise 5,000 dollars for Lahaina. For our part, we would like to give the school and especially the students a piece of playground equipment.
